It is self-learning that learners could set the targets, choose the methods, monitor the process and evaluate the outcome by themselves. With the development of modern distanceeducation, the low efficiency phenomenon of self-learning becomes increasingly prominent. In this paper, the solutions to the problem were discussed based on some aspects such as essence of self-learner, restraining factors, learning conditions and support conditions, which makes the learners can not only successfully complete learning tasks of ＇all disciplines in accordance with the syllabus but also master the lifelong learning skill.
