通过简单三核锰[Mn3O(O2CPh)6(py)2(H2O)]的聚合得到了化合物[Mn6(O)2(PhCO2)10(py)2(MeCN)(H2O)]·0.5CH3OH·1.5H2O.X射线单晶衍射表明,该化合物包含一个由2个{Mn4(μ4-O))四面体共边组成的[Mn6(μ4-O)2]10+金属中心,金属中心外围10个苯甲酸配体、2个吡啶配体,以及1个乙腈分子和1个水分子完成Mn离子的配位位置.结构分析表明,化合物1中Mn离子为混合价态(Mn4ⅡMn2Ⅲ).变温磁化率测定表明,锰离子之间主要存在反铁磁相互作用.

Compound [Mn6 (O)2 (PhCO2)10 (py)2 (MeCN)(H2O)]·0.5CH3OH·1.5H2O (1·0.5CH3OH·1.5 H2O) is obtained as the aggregation product of the simple manganese triangle [Mn3O(O2 CPh)6 (py)2 (H2O)]. X-ray structural analysis reveals that compound 1 contains a [Mn6O2]10+ core that can be conveniently described as two edge-sharing Mn4 tetrahedron at the center of each of which is a μ4-O2- ion. Peripheral ligation to the octahe-drally coordinated Mn centers is provided by ten benzoates, two pyridines, one aeetonitrile and one water molecule. The complex is mixed valence (Mn4Ⅱ Mn2Ⅲ) according to the structure analysis. Variable temperature susceptibility measurement of compound 1 reveals that dominant antiferromagnetic interactions are propagated between the mag-netic centers.
