An approximate method for reanalysis of topological modification of a non-classical damped structure with added degrees of freedom (DOF) was presented. The method based on a reduced model of an original structure and its to- pologically modified one followed through introducing dynamic condensation and singular value decomposition of complex matrix, and then combining it with Rayleigh quotient inverse iteration method the final results were obtained. The results of numerical examples showed that the suggested method could provide good approximation solutions with high precision, and it was effective and feasible.
