Three nitrobenzoyl naphthalene acyl thiosemicarbazides(Ⅱa～Ⅱ c)were synthesized by addition reaction of naphthalene acyl hydrazines with nitrophenyl isothiocyanates, which were obtained by the reaction of potassium thiocyanate with nitrobenzoyl chloride. The structures of the products were characterized by ~1H NMR, [R and elemental analysis. The preliminary biological activity test indicated that the synthesized compounds could promote the growth of paddy root at the concentration of 1mg/L, the compounds of Ⅱa ～Ⅱc had antibacterial activity against B. subtilis.
