It is proved that mesocompat mappings inversely preserve mesocompactness. As some applications of this result, it is showed closed Lindelif mappings inversely preserve mesocompactness with reguladr domains and images, which improves the same result of Mancuso about perfect mappings.It is also proved proved that the regularity of domains cannot be omitted and the regularity of images can be replaced by the normality of domains.
