In this paper adverse influences on faculty' s ideological status caused by personnel system reform in universities were presented. Problems which should be solved to improve the faculty' s ideological status were analyzed. Countermeasures taken to resolve the existing problems of the faculty' s ideological status in the process of personnel system reform were proposed.
