磁流变液是一种新型的可控智能材料,其粘度可随外加磁场强度的变化而迅速改变,并且这种特性具有可逆、连续和易于控制等特点,在车辆减振器领域具有广泛的应用.介绍磁流变液材料的组成、特性及流变机理,分析和比较磁流变液的三种本构模型.通过磁流变液特性试验,结果表明磁流变液存在剪切稀化现象,并具有磁饱和特性;剪切屈服应力随着磁场的增大而增大,当磁感应强度达到一定时,剪切屈服应力开始减小;并针对试验提出了用修正的双粘度模型描述切应力.对磁流变液在车辆减振器的应用进行台架试验,表明减振器阻尼力随着外加电流增加而增大,当电流达到一定值后,减振器阻尼力趋于稳定,磁流变液具有可控性.

Magnetorheological fluid(MRF)is a new controllable smart material.The viscosity of MRF changes quickly with the variation of applied magnetic field intensity,and the change is reversible,continuous and easy to control,so MRF has wide application in the field ofvehicle dampers.The composition,properties and rheological mechanism of MRF are introduced,and three kinds of MRF structural models are analyzed and compared with each other.The MRF rheological properties experiment is done,which shows that MRF has saturable and shear.thinning characteristics and the shear yield stress increases with the increase of magnetic field.But the shear yield stress decreases when the magnetic field is big enough.The bi-viscous model is amended according to experiment.The MRF damper characteristics experiment is done,and the results show that the damper force increases with the increase of impressed current.When the current reaches a certain value,the damper force keeps stable,which shows that MRF has controllability.
