Colloidal Gold Immunochromatographic Assay(GICA)is a new rapid diagnostic and testing technology in immunology,which is not only sensitive,specific,convenient,fast,etc.,but also suitable for grass-roots and on-site use.At present,the technology has been used in animal-denved food safety and quality control.This article reviewed the basic principle of the technology,focusing on the application statu and the encountered problems and the prospects for development developing prospects of GICA on animal-dedved food.
