This article discusses the reform of the teaching norms and renovation universities in the angle of the cultivation of the applied talents. Taking the practice of of college Shaoguan English in local University as an example, it provides a detailed introduction to the theoretical basis, the comprehensive course system, the construction effect, the innovation points and the prerequisites of the reform.
