In this paper, assembly process planning was analyzed in detail for Boeing 737-700 vertical empennage which was subcontracted by an aircraft company and the subcontract-oriented aircraft assembly process planning information modeling was created. Based on CAPPFramework, a CAPP application system for aircraft assembly process planning was developed.
