支气管哮喘(简称哮喘)是多种细胞及其组分参与的慢性非特异性炎症性疾病,气道反复炎症损伤与修复造成的气道重塑是哮喘主要的病理生理学特征,预防气道重塑是哮喘干预治疗的重要潜在靶点,是改善哮喘预后的重要手段.Rho通过激活下游效应物Rho相关卷曲螺旋形成蛋白激酶(Rho associated coiled coil fotruing protein kinase,ROCK)作用于气道平滑肌细胞及调节细胞因子和炎性因子等的产生,在哮喘气道重塑的形成与发展中起关键的作用,ROCK抑制剂能有效抑制哮喘动物模型的气道炎症和气道重塑作用.

Bronchial asthma (asthma) is a chronic non-specific inflammatory disease. The main pathophysiological feature of asthma is airway remodeling which is a result of airways' repeated injury and plerosis. Prevention of airway remodeling, which is thought to be an important potential target for asthmatic intervention treatment, is also a significant measure to improve the prognosis of asthma. Rho protein can affect the airway smooth muscle contraction through Rho kinase and regulate cytokines and inflammatory factors which play an important role in the pathogenesis of asthma. Both of them are involved in the formation of airway remodeling. Rho kinase inhibitors can effectively inhibit airway inflammation and airway remodeling in asthmatic animals.
