The radar cross section (RCS) of the section is eliminated from the RCS of a part of measured object being too large to be measured by RCS test device. An efficient approach to obtain the electromagnetic scattered field is presented. In this approach, the section of the part of the object is covered with three different ways. Three RCS values measured respectively are obtained to solve the RCS of the part being out of its section. An example is given and the result indicates that the approach is simple and effective.
