应用IASPEI新推荐的体波震级标准,选取2001~2007年国家地震台网48个台记录到的震中距小于100°的564个地震事件为研究对象,测定短周期体波震级m_b和宽频带体波震级m_(B(BB)),并使用正交回归方法对IASPEI新标准体波震级与中国地震台网传统的短周期体波震级m_(bc)、中长周期体波震级m_(bc)及哈佛大学矩震级M_(W)进行对比分析研究.分析结果表明:对于m_b6.0以下地震,m_b和m_(bc)基本一致;对于m_b 6.0以上地震,m_b比m_(bc)偏大;对于m_(B(BB))7.0以下地震,m_(B(BB))比m_(bc)偏大0.2~0.4,对于m_(B(BB))7.0以上地震,m_(B(BB))和m_(bc)基本无偏差;对于4.5<M_W<8.0地震,m_(B(BB))和M_W基本一致.由于宽频带体波震级m_(B(BB))具有测定速度快,精度高,并对于8.0级以下地震与矩震级M_W基本一致的特点,故m_(B(BB))在地震应急反应中能够发挥重要作用.

By using IASPEI new body wave magnitude standards, body wave magnitudes m_b and m_(B(BB)) of 564 earthquakes with epicentral distances less than 100° are measured on the basis of observations from 48 China seismograph network stations between 2001 and 2007. A systematic comparison research of magnitudes is made between body wave magnitudes determined by using IASPEI new body magnitude standards (m_b, m_(B(BB))) and China traditional body magnitude standards (m_(bc)),m_(bc)) and HARV moment magnitude (M_W) by using orthogonal regression method. The result of orthogonal regression shows m_b and m_(bc) are basically identical for m_b< 6.0 earthquakes. For M > 6.0 earthquakes, m_b is greater than m_(bc). For M < 7.0 earthquakes, m_(B(BB)) (IASPEI) is greater by 0.2 ~0.4 than m_(bc). For M > 7.0 earthquakes, there is no significant difference between m_(B(BB)) and m_(bc).m_(B(BB)) is nearly consistent with M_W for 4.5 < M_W < 8.0 earthquakes. Because of its fast measurement, high precision and basic consistence with M_W, broadband magnitude scale m_(B(BB)) plays an important role in earthquake emergency and disaster mitigation.
