理论与实验研究了激光二极管侧泵平-平非对称腔.理论分析表明,当谐振腔运行于热稳区边缘时,激光棒内基模半径随泵浦功率迅速增加,使光束质量快速提高并保持较高的输出功率.由于该谐振腔运行于热稳区边缘的特性与近半球面腔相近,所以将此设计称为热近半球面腔.与运行于稳区边缘的平-平对称腔相比,热近半球面腔设计有助于缩短谐振腔腔长.在对热近半球面腔实验研究中,光束质量随泵浦功率迅速增加以及输出功率饱和现象被观察,实验研究与理论分析吻合较好.
理論與實驗研究瞭激光二極管側泵平-平非對稱腔.理論分析錶明,噹諧振腔運行于熱穩區邊緣時,激光棒內基模半徑隨泵浦功率迅速增加,使光束質量快速提高併保持較高的輸齣功率.由于該諧振腔運行于熱穩區邊緣的特性與近半毬麵腔相近,所以將此設計稱為熱近半毬麵腔.與運行于穩區邊緣的平-平對稱腔相比,熱近半毬麵腔設計有助于縮短諧振腔腔長.在對熱近半毬麵腔實驗研究中,光束質量隨泵浦功率迅速增加以及輸齣功率飽和現象被觀察,實驗研究與理論分析吻閤較好.

The performance of the diode side-pumped plane-plane asymmetric resonator was investigated. Theory analysis shows that, when the resonator is operating at the boundary of the thermal stable region, the fundamental mode diameter in the rods quickly increases, which leads to the improvement of laser beam quality while maintaining a higher output power. Because the performance of this plane-plane asymmetric resonator operating at the boundary of the stable region is similar to that of a near hemispherical resonator, such resonator design is named as thermally determined near hemispherical resonator. Comparing with the design of a symmetric plane-plane resonator operating at the boundary of the thermal stable region, the thermally determined near hemispherical resonator design can be shorten the cavity length and is suitable to a low and middle power diode side-pumped resonator. The beam quality quick improvement and the output power saturation are experimentally observed in the thermally determined near hemispherical resonator. There is a good agreement between the theory analysis and the experiment results.
