Developing the high-powered flight control computer is one important step of helicopter development.Before flight test, it is necessary to make the comprehensive simulation test for flight control system.A project of Hardware-in-the-loop simulation for flight control system is brought forward,which is based on Matlab RTW toolbox and embedded VxWorks operation system.The makeup of simulation platform,configuration of RTW and the simulation real-time code generation are detailed explicated. RTW extern-mode is used in simulation.The theory, detailed configuration of extern-mode are detaild illuminated.The approach of access data from the helicopter model signals and parameters in RTW-generated target files is further analysed. One of the feasible ways and means is put forward.At the end,actual simulation results are given which validates the feasibility of the project.This project has been applied in further flight test.
