Magnetic-fluorescent multifunctional nanoprobes have properties of magnetic separation, target recognition, fluorescent imaging and magnetic resonance imaging, which have gained considerable attention in chemistry, biology and medicine. In this paper, the recent progress of magnetic-fluorescent multifunctional nanoprobes was reviewed, and 38 literatures were cited.
