21世纪,我国公共卫生面临着诸多的机遇与挑战.经济模式、健康模式、医学模式、社会需求的改变以及国际化要求等对我国现行的公共卫生教育体制产生了强烈的冲击,要解决公共卫生教育与社会需求之间的矛盾,应当从根本上改革公共卫生的教育模式.建立长学制公共卫生教育和研究生教育体制,拓宽教学内容,加强对医学生的人文与社会科学的教育,加强预防医学与临床医学的结合,改革灌输式教学方法,采用互动式、启发式、讨论式、科研式教学方法,培养学生的主动性和创造性,把目标定位于培养既能够进行科学研究,又具有丰富医学知识和人文科学知识,而且能够从事预防医学实践和管理的公共卫生人才.

Chinese public health is confronted with a lot of opportunity and challenge,the economic model, healthe model, medical model, the change of social demand as well as internationalization demands in 21 centuries. All of these pound intensely to current public health education system of our country. To resolve the contradiction between public health education and social demand, we should reform fundamen-tally public health education model, build-up the long-term educational system and graduate student educa-tion system of public health education, broaden content of courses, reinforce medical student to study the humanity and social sciences, reinforce the combination of preventive and clinical medicine, break out the closed type teaching method, with interactive, heuristic, discussing and scientific research style teaching method to train student's initiative and creativeness. Our target is fixed to cultivate preventive medical doc-tor who not only can carry out science study, but also have rich medical science and the humanity knowl-edge, and who can be engaged in not only preventive practices but also preventive medicine administration.
