新课标注重学生自主学习能力、科学探究能力的培养，高考更是把对学生的能力考查放在首位，而对学生各种能力培养的前提是学生要有独立思考能力。本文阐述了新课标下培养学生独立思考能力对教师教学的要求，以及教学过程中应注意的几个问题，同时给出了几个教学案例。

New curriculum standard emphasizes the cultivation of students＇ autonomous learning ability and scientific inquiry ability and checking students＇ ability is given top priority in NMT, while the premise of cultivating students＇ various abilities is to cultivate students＇ independent thinking ability. This paper expounds some requirements for cultivating students＇ independent thinking ability in the light of mew curriculum standard, some points worthy of notice in teaching and gives some teaching cases.
