Porous calcium phosphate bone cement is currently a hot material in bone tissue engineering. It has more advantages and potentials. But it is strict on pore size, interconnectivity, strength, and degradation rate of this material in clinical practice. The methods of making pores, the problems on application, the solutions and development prospect are reported.
