Introduced are installation and observation methods andinstallation of instruments, including inclinometer, extensometer, water level pipe, etc. These instruments are used in the safety monitoring of the Yellow River dike project for the reinforcing treatment of the exploratory tunnel through the Yellow River in the East Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer in China. A simple form of analysis is performed of the observed data.
