采用差热分析法,恒流放电法和循环伏安法研究了氢损失对于a-PbO2和β-PbO2的电化学性质的影响。电化学形成的PbO2的热分解表明PbO2中存在两种类型的结构水:一种是吸附在PbO2颗粒表面的物理吸附水,可在较低温度下消失;另一种是位于PbO2晶格内部的化学结构水,只能在较高温度下失去。铅酸电池中PbO2还原反应主要由扩散过程控制,物理吸附水的损失对容量影响不大,而化学结构水的损失导致了容量的严重衰减。

The influence of hydrogen loss on the electrochemical properties of both a - PbO2,3- PhO2 was studied using differential thermal analysis, constant current discharge and cyclic voltammetry. The thermal decomposition of electroformed PbO2 showed two types of hydration water:the first type was physical adsorption water adsorbed on the surface of PbO2 particles and could be removed at low temperature, the second was chemical structural water localized within the PbO2 crystal structure and could only be removed at higher temperature. The reduction reaction of PbO2 in lead/acid batteries was mainly controlled by diffusion process. The removal of physical adsorption water had little effect on the capacity, however, the removal of clemical structural water results in a serious loss on the capacity.
