The installation of pre-stressed anchorage rod of top pintle of the miter gate of Three Gorges Permanent Lock is the most difficult item in the metal structures and mechanical and electrical equipment of Three Gorges Permanent Lock. The design scheme of installing pre-stressed anchorage rod in the channels of A and B tension bar in the top pintle of miter gate has been adopted, which is the first one at home. The technicians seriously analyzed the installation difficulties and optimized the scheme so that they successfully completed the project construction task. It provides valuable experience for the installation of pre-stressed anchorage rod in the top pintle of miter gate in China.
