The hybrid fiber prefabricated parts composed of short Al_2O_3 and carbon fiber are made successful by vacuum subatmospheric shaping method. The ZL109 alloy reinforced by the prefabricated Al_2O_3 and carbon fiber are prepared by squeeze casting method with fiber contents. The effects of carbon fiber on fraction and wear properties of the hybrid composites with fixed Al_2O_3 fiber volume fraction 10% are investigated.
