通过对2006~2008年湖北省水稻区试参试品种的品质进行检测与分析,结果表明,湖北省的稻米品质较好.其中碾米品质和理化指标最好,整精米率较高,有中软的胶稠度和低的糊化温度,中低含量的直链淀粉;外观品质次之,垩白粒率较高.培育低垩白粒率和低垩白度品种应是今后育种工作的重点.

The qualities the major Hubei rice varieties in 2006-2008 were tested and analyzed in this paper. The results revealed that the quality of rice from Hubei province was better than others,especially the milling quality and the physic -chemical index. They also had higher level of intactness with the middle-soft gel consistency,lower gelatinizing temperature and low-middle amylase content. However,their appearances were relatively un-attractable and the level of chalky rice was higher than the average. As a result,breeding new varieties with low level of percentage and degree chalkiness should be emphasized in future work.
