A waste heat recovery equipment for solid material was designed after analyzing the necessity of waste heat recovery from solid products and solid residue. The structure characteristics and industrial application of the heat recovery exchanger were introduced. With the Fluent software, the comparison of the heat exchange processes was made for the recovery equipment with and without heat transfer enhancing plug-in in the heat exchange tube. The result validates that setting plug-ins in the tubes helps to enhance the heat transfer effectively.
