采用引进材料163A与网纹甜瓜育种亲本96W152进行连续多代回交转育、自交筛选而成的B3-1-1-3为父本,91158为母本,育成新品种"红绿早脆".该品种果实高球形,果皮绿色,网纹细而密,果肉桔红色,肉质脆爽,不易发酵,果肉厚4.0 cm,单果重1.5 kg左右,折光糖度16%以上,果实发育期45 d左右.

"Hongliizaocui"is a new netted melon F_1 hybrid.Its paternal plant,B3-1-1-3,was bred by backcrossing the introduced plant 163A with the parent plant 96W152 for generations and then selfing,and its maternal plant,91158,was bred through crossing the early-maturing material 1611 with a netted melon material and then selfing for generations.Its fruit is elliptic in shape with green rind and dense and fine reticular lines on surface.Its flesh is 4.0 cm thick with orange color and not easy to ferment.The fruit weighs about 1.5 kg and is 16%or more in refractometer brix.The development period of fruit is about 45 d.
