The turning point of water and sand of natural period and human activities impact period in Gushanchuan Basin is the year 1979,which was analyzed with the method of orderly clustering and MWP test.The model was established with the data before 1979.and the runoff and sediment transportation during this period was regarded as benchmark value.The impacts of climate change and human activities on the quantity of water and sediment during floods after 1979 were analyzed.
