分析了地层破裂压力变化规律,对Holbrook提出的以孔隙度为基础的地层破裂压力预测模型进行了分析,指出Holbrook给出的破裂压力与孔隙度的关系较好地解释了井漏容易在疏松砂岩地层中发生的现象,但对高孔隙度地层不适用。基于“临界孔隙度”概念和岩石力学特性通用预测模型,对Holbrook地层破裂压力预测模型进行了修正,在某油田的应用取得较好结果。

Holbrook's model is one of the good models to predict the fracture pressure, especially when it relates the porosity with fracture pressure. It can demonstrate the fact that lost circulation commonly takes place in the weak sandstone formation. But it isn't suitable to the formations with higher porosity. Based on a concept of 'critical porosity', the Holbrook's model was modified. The application of this modified model yields a better result.
