当今世界已进入信息化、网络化的时代。如何运用信息技术提高教学质量，是广大教师关注的重要课题。在人类社会迈向信息化、网络化社会的历史进程中，运用网络资源开展才学活动是教育现代化的重要标志之一。网络资源在教学中的应用，不能简单地看作是一种教学手段或教学方法的运用，它是一场教育思想观念、教学方法手段和教学模式的深刻变革。目前，在思想政治课教学过程中，运用信息网络资源进行高校思想政治理论课教学的主要途径有三个方面：其一是课前对网络平台的运用，其二是课堂上对网上讨论的点评，其三是开展课外思想政治教育。
