Innovative ability is one of the basic qualities of college students should possess, which is also the national requirement for cultivating innovative talents and todays social needs for creative talents. This paper analyzes the issues related with cultivating IT professionals in ordinary normal universities, further points out the causes why the current education is out of touch with the market demand, and brings forward the corresponding reform measures.
