New physical education teachers should keep pace with the new situation,constantly sum up experience and innovate physical education teaching methods to adapt to the development of school physical education.This paper,based on the current status of physical education teaching methods,comparing the traditional and contemporary methods of school physical education,has explored ways of being innovative for the theoretical support of innovative sports teaching methods in the new era.
