As a new type of non-combustible,non-toxic, non-polluted waterborne polyamide has been used in many fileds. The present domestic and foreign development state of the preparation and application of waterborne polyamide are systematically reviewed. The preparation of anionic and non-ionic waterborne polyamide is analyzed, the application of wanterborne polyamide in the fileds of packaging materials, waterborne inks binders, water-based lubricant additives are introduced. Meanwhile, the development prospect is also viewed.
