    Vehicle status unit (VSU) is an important part of the fuel cell bus. It collects the necessary signals of the bus for the power train, and the signals are sent by the CAN bus. This paper develops each module of the hardware and software structure by modularization which is according to the desire signals of the vehicle control strategy and the function of CAN.
