The superiority of using the spread spectrum to communicate lies in that the method of spreading spectrum can increase the feature of anti-interference. The hardware design of the civil air defense warning signal processor is completed, using EP1C12Q240C8N as their core processor, and a detailed illustration is given, then the related functions is described by the VHDL language. This design reached the requirements of strongly anti-interference feature and lower error code rate in the civil air defence alarm system, has a most significance for the upgrading of the civil air defense alarm system.
