WEB集群使用一组作为后端节点的系统资源,能够有效地解决传统WEB服务器的负载均衡及故障恢复问题,但是到目前为止,如何使WEB集群更有效地利用系统资源还没有解决方案.针对这一问题,文章提出了一种网格化WEB集群的思想,并针对WEB集群的后端节点提出了一种按需管理策略,仿真实验的结果表明,该方法能够有效地提高WEB集群对资源的使用效率.

Aim. The introduction of the full paper points out that existing research, in our opinion, neglects how to achieve actual efficient utilization of web clusters; as a result some servers are idle and others are overused. Section 1 explains the Grid enabled web cluster, its core idea is that backend nodes require to be efficiently managed and that it outlines how to manage them efficiently. With the help of Figs.2 and 3, subsection 2.1 explains the strategy of on-demand resource allocation for backed nodes. On the basis of subsection 2.1 and with the help of Fig.4, subsection 2.2 explains the on-demand secheduling policy for backend nodes. Finally, using our novel measures, section 3 gives simulation results in Fig.5, which show preliminarily that our novel measures do succeed in more efficient utilization of web cluster.
