A scheme based on the wavelet transform and neighborhood search is presented to detect a dim small target.In this method,according to the intensity features of the dim small target,wavelet transform is adopted to detect the suspicious targets by pre-processing the initial images,and then neighborhood search is used to detect the true target in terms of the motion features of the dim small target.
