在生态危机时代,英国当代桂冠诗人特德.休斯（Ted Hughes,1930-1998）为重建人与自然的和谐关系而在诗学上不懈追求。其生态诗学探索之路分为三个阶段：早期动物诗歌对人性的揭露和自然本质力量的塑造;中期叙事诗歌对人类中心主义的批判和试图将后现代西方人与外在自然融在一起的渴望;后期诗歌对回归自然的倡导。他的诗歌不仅为沉寂的战后英国诗坛注入了新的活力,也使人们从理性主义的压力下解脱出来,重新正视人与自然的关系。

In the era full of ecological crisis, British Poet Laureate Ted Hughes, practices his poetic quest of the re-establishment of the harmony between human and Nature, which is divided into three steps： the exposure of human nature and celebration of natural power in his early animal poems;the indictment of anthropocentrism and desire for unity of inner and outer Nature in his mid-time narrative poems; the appeal to return to Nature in his later works. Hughes＇ poetry not only brings totally new energy to the silent British literatus, also liberates human from the oppression of rationalism to envisage the relationship between human and Nature.
