By means of analyzing the developing trends and challenges for chinese petrochemical industry in period of ＂China＇s 12th Five-Year Plan＂,integrated with the up to date approach and project practice for process automation technology,a strategic thinking for the application trends and development perspective for several hotspot PA technologies are conducted,such as the design technology of large-scale central control room,integration technology of process control system,fieldbus technology,industrial wireless network technology,etc.,from the engineering point of view,as well as put forward some constructive proposals for its application and development in future.
