骨质疏松是一种以骨重建及正常矿化障碍为特点的代谢性骨病.随着年龄增长,骨量丢失导致的骨折严重危害人们的健康.现在,骨质疏松症已在全世界范围内被认为一个危害人类健康的重要问题.很多因素被认为影响骨质代谢,其中很多研究认为用维生素K来预防老年性骨质疏松症及骨质疏松性骨折是有效的.本文阐述维生素K在骨质代谢的作用,并进一步探讨维生素K和骨质疏松症的深层联系.

Osteoporosis is a metabolic bone disease characterized by a defect in bone remodeling and normal mineralization. Bone loss may result in bone fracture, which seriously endangers the human health. Osteoporosis is considered as a major public health problem all over the world. Many factors are considered to affect bone metabolism. Vitamin K has been proved to be effective in prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in elder people. This article reviews the effect of vitamin K on bone metabolism and its relationship to osteoporosis.
