A practical PACS-based Endoscope Image Acquisition Workstation ishere introduced. By a Multimedia Video Card, the endoscope video is digitized and captured dynamically or statically into computer. This workstation realizes a variety of functions such as the endoscope video's acquisition and display, as well as the editing, processing, managing, storage, printing, communication of related information. Together with other medical image workstations,it can make up the image sources of PACS for hospitals. In addition, it can also act as an independent endoscopy diagnostic system.
