研究了激光二极管侧面泵浦Nd:YAG晶体的热效应.通过热传导方程,获得了Nd:YAG晶体内部的温度分布.分析了温度梯度和热应力对激光棒的影响,得到了在激光器运行时激光棒内的折射率分布.在谐振腔内,作为光学元件的激光晶体必然产生像差.计算了Nd:YAG晶体棒沿径向的光学路径差(OPD)用以量化像差.通过实例演示了此种方法如何指导激光器的优化设计.设计了一个非球面单透镜用以弥补棒状Nd:YAG晶体的热效应,并计算了该透镜的非球面面型曲率.

The thermal effects of laser diode side -pumped Nd:YAG crystal lasers were studied. Temperature distribution in the Nd:YAG crystal was obtained by using heat conductive equation. The influences of temperature distribution and induced thermal stress in the laser rod were analyzed and the index distribution in the laser rod was obtained when laser was operating. As an optical element in resonator, laser crystal must produce aberrations. Optical path difference (OPD) of the Nd:YAG rod along radius was calculated for quantifying the aberrations. At last, a substantial example in virtue of OPD theory demonstrates that how to instructe laser design optimization. An aspheric singlet was designed to compensate thermal effects of rod-like Nd:YAG. And it's aspheric surface type was accurately obtained.
