既往研究已表明谷胱甘肽S-转肽酶(GSTs)存在基因多态性,这种突变可增加人体对癌源性物质及炎症性疾病的敏感性.近年的研究结果提示GSTs基因多态性与动脉粥样硬化密切相关,这种相关性使我们从分子水平上探讨动脉粥样硬化的发病机制,从而达到基于个体基因型采取预防及治疗措施.

Glutathione S-transferase gene exhibits genetic polymorphisms, and this variation can in-crease the susceptibility to carcinogenesis and inflammatory disease. Recent research suggests the gene polymor-phism of ghitathione S-transferase is associated with atherosclerosis. The study of this relationship and consider-ation of the molecular aspects of the causes of atherosclerosis should lead to new approaches to the prevention and clinical treatment of atherosclerosis according to individual genotypes.
