It is necessary to establish rapid and accurate lead-detecting technologies since lead in the environment and food seriously threatens human health through the food chain concentration.This paper reviews several biochemical methods of detecting lead ions which have been rather deeply studied and have yielded some preliminary results,and briefly discusses the development trend of lead-detecting technology in the future.
