Chronic hepatitis B is one of the most serious human health problems in China. Current therapies fail to provide long-term control of viral replication in most patients. The chronicity of hepatitis B and viral persistent infection are associated with the defects of H-BV related antiviral immunity, therefore immunotherapy is proposed as a promising means of terminating the infection.
