A voltage feedforward technology for buck DC/DC switch-mode power supply (SMPS) controller was described. In this technology, duty cycle of PWM signal changes quickly with input supply voltage by adjusting the center amplitude of the triangular wave. This technology can be used to effectively suppress effect of the input supply voltage variation on the output voltage, thus improving its stability.
