Taking the fence slope engineering of Kunyu 500 kV substation as an example,the mechanism and design method of soil nailing were introduced in this paper.Compared with the reinforced concrete retaining wall which was proposed firstly,the characteristics and superiority of soil nailing supporting technology are described,which provides a reference for its extensive application in transformer substation.
