本文全面分析了Pal.King模糊边缘检测算法存在的缺陷,提出了一种新的改进型Pal.King模糊边缘检测算法,并将其应用到AVI视频边缘检测。该算法针对Pal.King算法中对隶属度阈值的设置存在的不足,通过重新定义模糊隶属度函数,反复实验,确定了各参数的最佳值。仿真结果比较显示,改进后的算子复杂度得到降低,效率得以显著提高,边缘检测效果更佳。

This paper comprehensively analyzed the present defects of Pal.King fuzzy edge detection operator,raised a new-improved Pal.King fuzzy edge detection algorithm,and then applied it to the AVI-video edge detection.In order to overcome disadvantages of Pal.King algorithm in subjection degree threshold value setting,through redefining a new subjection function,after repeated experiments,the algorithm determined the optimum value of each parameter.Emulational experiment shows that the complexity of improved operator has been reduced and the efficiency has been significantly improved,by which the effect of edge detection is better.
