With the rapid development of modern industry,industrial waste water emissions were increasing.It was harmful to the people's lives and production.Especially industrial wastewater,its high toxicity,environmental pollution,had been widespread concern.In the diverse wastewater treatment methods,electrochemical method is easy to control,easy to set up closed loop and no secondary pollution.In terms of that,the electrochemical treatment of wastewater received extensive attention.The paper summarized a variety of advance electrochemical treatment of wastewater,and reviewed the basic principles,pointed out the direction of future research.
