The catalytic synthesis of ethylene glycol monoether acetate using cation ion exchange resin, TiO2/SO42 - to be carried by molecular sieves, rare- earth salt, pillared clay et al as catalysts are described in detail. The optimum reaction conditions of the synthesis of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate catalyzed by sodium bisulfate was probed. The results have proved that sodium bisulfate is good catalyst for synthesis of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, and it little amount of use, high yield, convenient to operate.
