报道一种快速富集、测定海水中224Ra的新方法.该法用 MnO2-纤维富集60升海水中224Ra，用220Rn的连续射气闪烁计数法测224Ra的比活度，方法简便、快速、灵敏、准确，适合于船上等现场操作，已成功地应用于九龙江河口区和厦门湾水体中224Ra的分布与地球化学行为的研究.

A new method for rapid concentration and determination of　　224Ra in seawater was presented.224Ra was preconcentrated from seawater by adsorpting onto MnO2-fiber. The specific activity of　　224Ra adsorpted on the fiber was determined by stripping its daughter,220Rn, directly from the fiber bundle by circulating a stream of N2 through it and measuring the　　220Rn activity concurrenty. This method is simple,sensitive,accurate and suitable for field operations. It was successfully applied to the studies on the distribution and geochemical behavior of　　224Ra in the Jiulongjiang estuary and Xiamen Bay waters.
